How many states in the U.S. list sex offenders on state watch lists, despite the crime being simply prostitution or a violation of archaic sodomy laws? How many states list these "offenders" along with child predators without clearly identifying the crime in which they have been convicted of? And how many states list the crime unspecificly as "crimes against nature" or similar rather than detailing the nature of the offense?

My question stems from the realization that Louisiana's registry for sex offenders and child predators seems predominantly women. The listed offense is "Crimes against nature". I'm trying to find out how many other states may follow suit in their use of registries started after Megan's Law. It seems to give a viewer the impression that the countless women on the site are child predators unless a person has some background of the offenses that are covered under "crimes against nature." For example Jersey City NJ has a population of over 600,000 yet there are only 85 registered on the list. Meanwhile New Orleans with a lessor population lists hundreds. After a more careful look and a glance at the actual dockets at the Sheriffs office, the majority seem to be related to solicitation or prostitution rather than the molestation, rape or sexual abuse, etc.
