I know this won't come off as anything other than snooty, but can you give us a teeny bit of context for your question? We serve the information needs of activists (primarily radical activists really), and independent journalists. Do you identify as either? Since the Utne article, we've been a little slammed and need to focus on questions germane to our mission.

We recommend non-radicals contact their local library or AskMetaFilter as we just don't have the volunteers to take all comers, as much as we would like to!
