Question: Scholarships for students of Middle Eastern and Arab ancestry

There are many scholarships for "people of color" in library science. Many of these scholarships use the census definitions of what that means, i.e. American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino or Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander.

What I am trying to find out is if other minorities are eligible as well in some other minority scholarship. I am assuming that East Indians are considered Asian, but what about people whose roots are based in Iraq, Egypt, or Turkey?
