The Solidarity Center is connected to the AFL-CIO. There are several "ARISE"'s. There's Arise for social justice, a low-income rights, anti-oppression membership organization in western Massachusetts started in 1985 by 4 women. There's also Arise Bookstore in Minneapolis, MN.
