QUESTION: radical glossary

question / pregunta:

Where can I find a radical glossary? I’m specifically looking for definitions for terms such as “political education.” I’m also looking for the political etymology of the term “multi-multi makeup.” Perhaps Ella Baker and/or SNCC?

This is only a partial answer, but you might find the following two books helpful to start:

"Revolutionary Political Dictionary" published by Anarchist Black Cross (available for purchase at http://www.akpress.org/2004/items/revolutionarypoliticaldictionary)

Talking Terrorism: A Dictionary of the Loaded Language of Political Violence by Philip Herbst published by Greenwood Press (posted online, at least for now, at http://www.scribd.com/doc/30648980/A-Dictionary-of-the-Loaded-Language-of-Political-Violence)

You might also find some useful definitions in more general reference works--available at a library--such as Encyclopedia of politics : the left and the right, The Blackwell Companion to Political Sociology, and A glossary of political theory.

I hope that helps as a start!

I attempted to tackle the "multi-multi makeup" part of your question, and came up blank. The only results for the search <"multi makeup" -cosmetic -cosmetics> that came up on the internet were this question and links to different posts from the same blog, none of which actually contained the phrase, at least not on the front end. I ran the same search in the databases America, History & Life and ProQuest and retrieved zero results.

Is this some sort of weird, targeted spam to get librarians interested in face powder blush?
