Berman's personal LCSH scorecard

I'm really honored to be on the Sandy Berman distro list (for those that don't know Sandy, check out his Web site!) and get nuggets of Bermanabilia almost every week delivered to my mailbox. It's like the snail mail equivalent of an RSS feed as Sandy sends copies of letters to LC on subject heading suggestions as well as library-related news stories. This week's missive was particularly juicy as Sandy sent his personal LCSH scorecard for the last 5 years. He also sent a copy of this little guardian blog post about library book marginalia which I found very intriguing. here's another case where digital just doesn't cut it (I'm not anti-digital, but just worry about the all-or-nothing shift toward digital).

"Is there a margin muse in your library book?". by Daniel Kalder. Guardian, Tuesday 28 July 2009.
