-The Talon (Hatttiesburg, MS) which is a publications of the University of Southern Mississippi Alumni Association

However, no instances of the Talon News organization based in Texas.

* Bowker's News Media Directory and Ulrich's Periodical Directory offered no reference to "Talon" or "Talon News."
