How can I get one of those "peaceful protestor" buttons if I'm not going yet? I'd like to get one in advance of my visit to make sure I get one. I'd pay for overnight shipping.
According to the NYC visitors website, peaceful protesters can only pick up a button in person at the address below. You can also print out a "Peaceful Political Activists Savings Card" from the website. The card can be shown at hotels, restaurants etc for discounts.
I called their office and they confirmed that. I also asked how many were produced, but the person did not know. If anyone DOES go to pick one up, please email us and let us know how many buttons were produced.
