How many civilians have been killed by US troops in Iraq? How many have been wounded? This information seems to be suppressed in America. The data I have seen is fragmentary and contradictory.

An article from October 31, 2004 from the London Independent and posted on CommonDreams cites the IraqBodyCount site as saying that the lack of movement of journalists throughout Iraq may indeed be preventing them have a full picture.
The same CommonDreams article also cites a study by the Lancet, a UK medical journal, that in 2004 had already claimed that 100,000 deaths of civilians had occurred.
